About us

Sitting Pretty is a new venture launched by Alice and Gemma, two friends who share a passion for restoring the beauty and life back into furniture.

We sell small items of unique and beautifully upcycled furniture, particularly chairs and stools, some with a retro twist. All are carefully restored by us and some are painted with Annie Sloan chalk paint and finished with wax. Our pieces are upholstered using a variety of fabrics including Vanessa Arbuthnott, deck chair canvas and plain velvet.

We offer a personalised service therefore If there is a particular style of chair/stool etc. that you would like us to source we will endeavour to find it for you. Alternatively we can upgrade or restore to your specification a piece you may already have.
